The Apple Festival Grand Finale event features over 175 units with Band Competition, Float Judging, Ohio Festival & Events Queens.  The 2025 event also features special guests - The Ohio State Marching Band (often referred to as The Best Damn Band in the Land)!

Groove City Big Band, a 21‑piece jazz orchestra from Grove City, Ohio—featuring music educators, composers, arrangers, and alumni of the Marching 110—is heading to Markay Theatre on Sept 27 @ 7 pm! They’ll perform everything from swing and jazz fusion to Latin classics and contemporary standards. Tickets: markaytickets.org

On the First Thursday of each month, the Jackson Downtown Association hosts artisans, makers, and local businesses along the streets of Downtown Jackson.  Stop by for fresh bread, handmade candles and gifts, specialty foods, and more.  Food trucks and entertainment change monthly.
