DESCRIPTION:The firefighters’ association starts roasting pork the day before to ensure that there is plenty of amazing food available for their annual Pig Iron Day event.  Pulled pork sandwiches\, beans & cornbread\, and hotdogs are on the menu with food service starting at 11am.  Local food trucks will also be on hand with lemonade\, kettle corn\, and Kona Ice for sale. \nThe event coincides with the 28th Annual Wheels of Steel Car Show put on by the Appalachia Old Car Club.  For more information on the car show contact Marty Ross at (740) 250-4749. \nThere will also be a 1pm auction for collectable pig iron plaques and other items at 1pm.
